At an official ceremony at the National Museum of Military History today, the best museum specialists from all over the country received the prestigious “Golden Age” awards of the Ministry of Culture.

The winners were honored in 2020, but the announcement ceremony was postponed due to the Kovid-19 pandemic.

The prestigious awards were presented by the Deputy Minister of Culture Assoc. Prof. Dr. Plamen Slavov.

Simultaneously with the Golden Age Awards, the Heritage Awards of the Bulgarian Museums Association were presented. In the most prestigious category – “Museum of the Year” for 2020, the winner of the award is the National Museum of Military History.

The award was presented by the Deputy Minister of Culture Assoc. Prof. Dr. Plamen Slavov.

The annual general meeting of the Bulgarian Museums Association was a wonderful occasion for the Ministry of Culture to express in a dignified manner the respect and gratitude for the Revival spirit and the dedication of our museum specialists. Without their efforts, the mission of preserving and promoting our rich cultural heritage could not be successful.

Honorary badge “Golden Age” – a star – Dora Chausheva for significant contribution to the development and establishment of Bulgarian culture and national identity

Honorary badge “Tsar Simeon the Great” – gold – Asya Nikolova for contribution to the development and establishment of the Bulgarian culture and national identity

Honorary badge “Tsar Simeon the Great” – silver – Stoyan Ivanov – Julia Ninova – Christina Manova – Grozdelina Georgieva – Ventseslav Petkov for contribution to the development and establishment of the Bulgarian culture and national identity
