The Ministry of Education and Science will continue the Education with Science program, updating it and coordinating it with the activities under the Recovery and Sustainability Plan. This was announced by Minister Nikolay Denkov. More than 100 STEM teachers have already been trained in the program – natural sciences, mathematics and computer science. “The goal is to reach 500,” said Prof. Petar Boyvalenkov, director of the Institute of Mathematics and Informatics at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences. The program also includes a module that allows practical lessons to be taught on various topics in museums. Classes were also organized online during the pandemic. Last year, the construction of the Unified Museum Online Education Complex began. The first version of the platform is ready, with an integrated information area for the National Museum of Natural History. Content for other museums is to be uploaded as well.
