The invitation to participate in the 10th edition of the “Ziva” award, presented by the Forum of Slavic Cultures (FSK), has ended.

The judges will visit the 21 submitted applications from 10 countries and, after expert consultation, will select the winners and special prize winners. The jury is on its way, candidate visits are underway, and the FSK is already in feverish preparation for the annual conference with the award ceremony, to which it is already inviting nominated museums and interested professionals.

This year’s meeting and ceremony will be held from September 25 to 29 at Etara, near Gabrovo, Bulgaria, in cooperation with the Bulgarian Ministry of Culture, the city of Gabrovo and Ettar Regional Open Air Ethnographic Museum, winner of the Zhiva Award for 2020 for Best Heritage Site in Slavic Countries.

The mission of FSK is to revive the creative potential of Slavic cultures. The foundation’s main goal is to connect the Slavic cultural environment and advocate it in the contemporary global social context. The Forum of Slavic Cultures connects and presents Slavic culture, science and art, its creative charge and cultural heritage, and also takes active care of the distinctive contribution of Slavic cultures to the global dialogue.
