of Art Gallery – Kazanlak

The new representative exhibition “Choices”, presenting more than 120 authors with almost 250 works from the rich collection of the Art Gallery – Kazanlak, is a kind of journey, the prelude of which goes through the classic narrative of the history of the development of art, developed in parallel with that of the institution that today it preserves the displayed works. The second part appears as a natural continuation, in which the public has the opportunity to write its own history of art, as a consequence of its choices – that is, of its knowledge, instincts and feelings. Unperturbed by the choices of others to step into a fairy tale of images, a fairy tale without an end, in which only he who builds the future has the right to judge the past.
