Survey: Building Resilience to Face New Realities – Bulgarian National Committee of ICOM

Dear colleagues,

ICOM SEE is participating in the project “Building Resilience to Face New Realities”, supported by the ICOM Special Projects Fund. The project addresses the rapidly changing circumstances affecting museums in Europe, with a particular focus on crisis preparedness, institutional resilience, and the potential of the ICOM network. Its goal is to analyse the financial instability, political influence, climate pressures, sustainable development challenges, and structural inequalities that impact museum governance and management. The study of these current challenges will be conducted initially in Southeast Europe, followed by Central and Eastern Europe, with the potential for subsequent expansion into other regions.

The ICOM National Committee of Bulgaria is a project partner and invites museums and museum professionals in the country to participate in the survey being conducted as part of the “Building Resilience to Face New Realities” project.

The survey is hosted on the EU Survey platform and is available in ten languages. You can find the questionnaires for institutions and museum directors, as well as additional information, via the links below.
