The completely renovated “Heritage of Antiquity” hall, part of the permanent exhibition of the Regional History Museum – Sofia in the building at 1 Banski Square, opens its doors again.
The hall will be opened on April 7, 2023 (Friday) at 1:30 p.m.
The project was implemented with the financial support of the Ministry of Culture. The content and time scope of the exposition has been expanded. New exhibits and data on life in Sofia Field in the prehistoric period, Antiquity, the Middle Ages and the Ottoman period are included.
The information and spatial design has been updated. To present the textual information in the hall, a font that facilitates reading for people with dyslexia is used.
Digital photo frames were used for multimedia display of exhibits in the context of their discovery, as well as historical reenactments. The hall already has exhibits for tactile exploration and Braille inscriptions to them.
