• 12:30 p.m. Official opening of the 16th edition of the Week of Traditional Crafts of REM – Plovdiv
• Music and dance greeting from dance group “Iglika” to Center for support for personal development – ODC, Plovdiv
• Celebrating Midsummer Day – a highly revered day in folk tradition associated with herbs and healing. We will make wreaths and sing wristbands with the Aeneas bulla. A story about the power of herbs by Maria Georgieva – a master of natural healing creams
• 6:00 p.m. Opening of the national exhibition “Bulgarian felts – a message from antiquity”

• 11.00 a.m. Felting demonstration with ancient names “Dance of the Moth” by Istvan Vidak – a famous Hungarian felter and explorer-traveler
• Demonstration of spinning and felting according to Bulgarian technology by Svetlana Kamps

• 11.00 a.m. Felting demonstration with master Marieta Nedkova
• 11:30 a.m. Musical program with children from the “Maritsa” ensemble at “St. St. Cyril and Methodius” Secondary School, Plovdiv

• 11.00 a.m. Felting demonstration with master Penka Stavreva
• 11:30 a.m. Musical program with children from the Thracian Youth Folklore Ensemble at Lyuben Karavelov Secondary School, Plovdiv

• 11.30 Music and dance greeting from FTA “Iglika” to Center for support for personal development – ODK, Plovdiv

• 11.00 a.m. Felting demonstration with master Vanya Terzieva
• 11.30 Music program
• 12:00 p.m. Celebrating St. Peter’s Day – guests are treated to St. Peter’s chicken, bread with patterned salt, apples and pears and the “white man” dish.
• 7:30 p.m. – Craftsmen’s evening – distribution of certificates of participation and a brief overview of this year’s “Craft Week”, craftsman’s dinner and entertainment.
PS During the Week of Traditional Crafts / June 24 – 30 / the museum will work with extended working hours every day from 9 am to 7 pm.
