On July 2, 2024, at 5:00 p.m. in the central building of the Regional History Museum – Pazardzhik, Konstantin Velichkov Square No. 15, the exhibition “Urban Life” was opened. The exhibition presents traces of the past of Pazardzhik in the period from the Liberation of Bulgaria to the changes that occurred in 1944.

The visitor will get to know personalities with a significant role in the socio-political, economic and cultural life of the city – mayors, lawyers, doctors, people of science and art, clergy, artisans and merchants. The exhibition presents photographs, objects and documents from the funds of the “New History” and “Ethnography” departments – the interior of a city dwelling from the 1930s – 1940s and clothing from the same period are shown. The exhibition includes illustrative panels, tapestry and paintings by Pazardzhik artists from the period of the new Bulgarian history, kept in the fund of RIM – Pazardzhik.

The exhibition can be visited until September 2, 2024 on working days – from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Saturdays and Sundays – from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
