The exhibition is organised with the assistance of the RHM “Academician Yordan Ivanov” Kyustendil in the ancient Pyrgos Tower (15th century) and is the first in a series of solo exhibitions in the country and abroad by the artist Stanislav Bozhankov on the occasion of his 60th anniversary.

Stanislav Bozhankov is an author who, in a unique and inimitable way, transforms and interprets the space and the world around us. His energy and talent create iconic images and meanings in harmony with the mystical urge for self-absorption and entering deeply into the “doors” of the invisible world of perceptions and spirit. The theme of “The Heart” is an idea that has excited the author for twenty years and gradually becomes central and essential for him and his work. The artist has painted thousands of hearts and continues to create tirelessly. Because his belief in harmony and significance, in the power of the divine spark and the need for beauty is immense and immeasurable.

The vibration of the heart has always excited Stanislav Bozhankov. With the help of a delicate and subtle visual “intervention”, he creates a fascinating metaphorical story, which tells of love, humility and kindness, the eternal Christian values that we sometimes forget in the hectic everyday life. He is an artist of visual philosophy, of the ability to see and recreate the world in a meaningful and full of meaning and emotional experience way.

The emotional and energetic thread of his soul is woven into the messages that the author sends us. And as he himself says; “The most poetic expressions and the most intimate feelings are connected with the heart”.
