The Wall is the latest project of the National Gallery, which aims to present graffiti artists. In the atrium of Square 500, among the sculptures from the permanent exhibition, the authors invited by the National Gallery will create their works on a special wall.
The style and the bright color of the compositions realized in appropriate places in the urban environment are the arguments on which the curatorial choice Nikolay Petrov GLOW to be the first to face the “Wall” in Square 500 is based.
Nikolay Petrov was born in Sofia in 1988. He graduated in Advertising Design at the National Academy of Arts. For the last 10 years he has been an independent artist and designer. He has participated in dozens of graffiti art festivals and in a number of group exhibitions in Bulgaria and abroad. His graffiti can be seen in Sofia and other Bulgarian cities, in Thailand, the United States and over ten European countries.
In recent months, GLOW has completed its project as part of the Guerrilla Art Fest in Pristina, Kosovo, and has curated and participated in the first edition of the Sofia Graff Express Festival.
