In 2020, the National Gallery launched a program called The Wall. In the atrium of Square 500, among the sculptures from the representative exhibition of the National Gallery, a monumental decorative panel measuring 2.40 mx 26 m was built. Contemporary authors focusing on graffiti and mural art are implementing their projects at the invitation of a curatorial team. Nikolay Petrov GLOW was the first to get the opportunity to paint his bright geometric shapes with his “Garden of Colors”. A year later, “The Egg Dentist” appeared there with the highly recognizable and definitely “urban” handwriting of Alexi Ivanov. Between 10:00 and 13:00, between 10:00 and 18:00, Greek-born Bilos Mantopoulos, known as BILOS, will paint his work PLETHOS in front of Square 500 visitors. On May 14, between 20:00 and 22:00, as part of the program of the National Gallery for the European Night of Museums – Sofia 2022, BILOS will put the final touches and final elements of its work.
