Dear colleagues,
We are pleased to invite you to participate in a national scientific
conference on the topic “Childhood in the Media: Representations, Values, Attitudes”, which is being implemented within the framework of the project “Representations, Values and Attitudes Regarding Childhood, Reflected in the Print Media in Bulgaria in the 20th Century. Sociocultural Aspects”, funded by the Scientific Research Fund.
The conference will be held on October 7-8, 2026 in a hybrid format.
The reports, formatted as scientific articles, will be published in a specialised issue of the journal “Bulgarian Ethnology”.
Please send your applications for participation to the email address
bgchildhood@iefem.bas.bg by June 1, 2026, indicating your name, institution and position held, title of the report and a short summary, email and contact phone number.
After you receive confirmation from us by June 3, 2026, upon your request, we will send additional information about the scientific and technical requirements for the design of publications. We will await your texts by September 3, 2026 at: bgchildhood@iefem.bas.bg
The conference is open for participation for specialists from various fields of the humanities and social sciences.
